The #RedNoseDay campaign returned for its eighth year on May 26. With help from core partners, Walgreens, NBCUniversal and the Gates Foundation, Red Nose Day aims to fund critical programs that keep children safe, healthy, educated and empowered in the U.S. and around the world. For the third year in a row, Educare Long Beach has been a recipient of the Red Nose Day grant. This year, with the support of the grant, Educare is building a successful and sustainable employee wellness initiative. Just as children need to be healthy, safe, engaged, challenged and supported to perform to their highest ability, so do school employees who are charged with educating, guiding, nurturing and protecting them. The national campaign raised more than $49 million.
