In mid-May, UNITE-LA’s Programs Team hosted its Summer Open House for 40 partners, including LAUSD, DCFS, Goodwill SoCal, Antioch University, the L.A. County Probation Department and others.

Attendees learned about UNITE-LA’s upcoming summer programming and fall programs. Partners were then invited to share about their upcoming opportunities. One such partner, GED Testing, presented their various offerings, which included their free program for foster and unhoused youth. All partners received a recording of the event, the program’s PowerPoint and UNITE-LA flyers that included staff contact information.
