UNITE-LA recently celebrated the completion of Part 1 of its 11th Step into Tech cohort, with 29 of 31 participants successfully completing the program.

Throughout the cycle, participants engaged in career exploration, professional development and hands-on technical learning, collectively earning 88 badges through the Cisco Networking Academy across cybersecurity, networking and data science. In addition, 15 participants completed the program’s new Intro to Modern AI course, applying their learning through real-world projects focused on everyday uses of artificial intelligence.

As participants continue into certification training and career pathways in tech, programs like Step into Tech remain critical to expanding access to high-growth industries and preparing a more diverse workforce for the future economy.
