The UNITE-LA Policy team supported R.E.A.L. Coalition's Education & Workforce Development Committee meeting last month and facilitated a spotlight on apprenticeship programs and opportunity youth with speaker participation by Henry Bartholomay, Policy Director for Bay Area Council, and Eric Morrison-Smith, Executive Director for the Alliance for Boys and Men of Color. This month's session will focus on top challenges and opportunities for the school year with guest speaker Tara Kini, Director of State Policy with the Learning Policy Institute.
