LA DEAL has launched a new and updated website that provides the latest updates on local, state and federal digital equity efforts, research, resources and opportunities and events, as well as a comprehensive list of LA DEAL’s partners. UNITE-LA is the co-convener of the Los Angeles Digital Equity Action League (LA DEAL), a digital equity initiative, along with our partner, Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation. LA DEAL was designated in September 2021 by the California Public Utilities Commission, the agency that regulates the internet, as the Regional Broadband Consortium for L.A. County. In alignment with UNITE-LA’s strategies for improving education and workforce development outcomes in the region, there are systems change, policy and programming elements to our digital equity work.
