SB 70 (Rubio) will ensure that all children in the state receive critical instruction during their earliest years of learning by requiring students to attend kindergarten prior to entering the first grade. UNITE-LA cannot think of a better time to provide additional learning opportunities to our students who lost critical in-person learning over the last few years. SB 70 is currently on the Governor's desk awaiting a signature or veto.
