On June 18, UNITE-LA launched its second cohort of My Pathway to Health (MPTH) with 41 participants and more than 25 volunteers, including speakers, mentors, mock interviewers and networkers.

Participants jumped right in, exploring careers as community health workers, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, certified nursing assistants and medical assistants. Several of our participants have already expressed interest in a pathway and look forward to beginning their allied health training program during part two of the program. Each participant has also been matched with a mentor and began meeting with them to receive individualized support with professional development and career and education guidance.
