On Feb. 12, UNITE-LA joined business leaders, economic development partners and community stakeholders for a press conference in Los Angeles to highlight growing concerns about workforce instability and its impact on local businesses and regional economic health as federal funding negotiations continue in Congress.

UNITE-LA called on Congress to prioritize workforce stability and economic continuity in federal appropriations decisions, urging lawmakers to align federal spending with workforce and economic needs that support employers, workers and regional economic growth across Los Angeles and California. We remain committed to working alongside business, education and community partners to elevate the importance of workforce stability in federal policy discussions and to advance solutions that strengthen economic mobility and opportunity across our region.
