UNITE-LA co-hosted a webinar on Feb. 25 with partners at the National Association of Women Business Owners-Los Angeles (NAWBO-LA), Small Business Majority and the County of Los Angeles. Facilitated by UNITE-LA's Senior Director of Regional Business Engagement, Jasmin Sakai-Gonzalez, the virtual session highlighted how immigrant entrepreneurs and workers strengthen Los Angeles’ small-business economy.

The discussion addressed the impact of immigration enforcement on small businesses and shared practical resources for the year ahead. Speakers also discussed the growing uncertainty facing many small businesses, especially women entrepreneurs, and offered clear guidance to help employers plan with confidence while supporting their employees. UNITE-LA is grateful for the opportunity to showcase our partners’ leadership and the collaborative work underway across the region to advance a resilient and inclusive local economy.
