On June 3, UNITE-LA celebrated 43 graduates from our Spring 2025 Los Angeles Regional Cleantech Career Academy (Academy) at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.
In its third year, the Academy has supported more than 220 students, awarding 90 scholarships. Nearly 90 percent of participants come from underrepresented backgrounds. This ceremony was emceed by UNITE-LA's Senior Vice President of Programs and Talent Development, Bridget Netter. UNITE-LA's President, Alysia Bell, kicked off remarks followed by Randall Winston, Deputy Mayor of Infrastructure for the City of Los Angeles; Miriam Farnbauer, Project Director at DIAG USA; and Tamika Lang, Senior Manager of State and Local Government Operations at Boeing and a UNITE-LA board member.
