In January, UNITE-LA hosted the Avantus Cleantech Career Academy Information Session with 77 youth participating. The Avantus Cleantech Career Academy is a partnership between Avantus and UNITE-LA to provide education, job-readiness programs and paid work-based learning to develop future clean energy leaders from historically underserved communities.
 
We are looking for amazing cleantech employers to host youth with 12 weeks of paid work-based learning in this growing industry. We are proud to have these employers already on board! Avantus, Cordoba Corporation, E/2, G & C, Mereulo, Southern California Edison and Sunrun. Upon completion, youth will earn a $1000 scholarship to support their enrollment in certificate or degree program aligned with cleantech sector.
