Last month, UNITE-LA hosted more than 30 education partners, including our Dual Language Learning/English Learners funder, Sobrato, at Educare Los Angeles at Long Beach for a Californians Together quarterly convening, which UNITE-LA has been an official member since last year.

The meeting participants got a tour of the beautiful site and saw how Educare has effectively implemented the best practices to foster multilingualism for each age group. Everyone was left in awe and re-energized with so many ideas for potential collaboration and the possibilities that can be achieved to meet the needs of our multilingual students.

Overall, the convening was a great success, and UNITE-LA looks forward to continuing to work with our Dual/English Language advocates and partners to improve education and career outcomes for all our multilingual students across California and the nation.
