Several L.A. Compact workgroup partners presented on "The L.A. Compact and Its Role in Transforming L.A.'s Cradle-to-Career Education Systems" to more than 40 members of the Southern California Grantmakers Education Funders Group. The presentation introduced the L.A. Compact's new Charting Progress Dashboard and featured highlights from three Compact workgroups: L.A. Educator Pathways Partnership, Community Schools and the Student Success Workgroup. We were grateful to be joined by partners USC, CSU Northridge and Dominguez Hills, United Teachers Los Angeles, and California Community Foundation, who provided powerful testimony to the value and impact of the Compact.
