UNITE-LA Today: Together for Change

UNITE-LA is proud to share that 51 business organizations from across California signed on to its annual budget letter advocating for increased early care and education reimbursement rates—an increase of more than 30 percent from last year, including 17 new partners.

Collectively, these organizations represent more than 800,000 employers statewide, signaling strong and growing business support for policies that expand access to affordable child care and strengthen California’s workforce.

This level of engagement reflects a shared recognition that child care is not only a family issue, but an economic imperative. By mobilizing the business community around early care and education, UNITE-LA is helping advance solutions that support working families, enable workforce participation and contribute to a more resilient and inclusive economy.
