On April 23, UNITE-LA supported the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Unified School District by joining a stellar career panel for 150 sophomore-through-senior student-athletes from four different schools, Washington Prep, Edward R. Roybal Learning Center, Huntington Park and University Pathways High School, all within LAUSD.

The panel represented diverse careers, as well as education. The four schools were winners of the L.A. Rams Academic Challenge, which is a competition during the fall for the highest and most improved GPA among the football teams. The goal of the event was to provide exposure to career pathways beyond sports and to help students not solely focus on going professional in their sport, but also provide them resources and guidance on how to go professional in life.
