Last month, UNITE-LA successfully launched the My Pathway to Health and Step into Tech programs, exceeding enrollment goals!

These programs were kicked off by welcoming 31 opportunity youth to My Pathway to Health, where they participated in a dynamic career and training exploration session focused on the community health worker (CHW) pathway. With insights from a senior CHW at Providence Health and presentations from training partners, the session sparked engaging discussions and thoughtful questions from participants.

Also, 24 participants joined UNITE-LA's Step into Tech program, diving into an interactive workshop on social networking and elevator pitches led by UNITE-LA volunteer, Nick Pyzow. Next, they’ll put those skills into action during industry networking breakouts, while My Pathway to Health participants will continue exploring allied health careers through alumni stories and professional insights.
