Last month, UNITE-LA hosted a virtual Health Care Career Fair, with close to 50 aspiring, health care professionals in attendance.

The event started with a presentation from our health care employer partners, Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County, Cedars-Sinai, Providence Health, Community Spirit, Health Careers Connection and Cope Solutions, and was followed by breakout sessions with each of our employers. Attendees came from UNITE-LA’s My Pathway to Health program, local community colleges and other locales and participated in meet and greets and more intimate Q&A sessions with employers. All survey responders agreed the event increased their knowledge and awareness of job and internship opportunities in health care.
