At the end of May, UNITE-LA was present for California Workforce Association’s Spring Workforce Practitioners conference, WORKCON. The event benefits those interested in helping people obtain sustainable employment.

This year's theme, Bridging the Gap, recognized the need to come together and link any inefficiencies that may exist in our work. UNITE-LA's Bridget Netter, Senior Vice President of Programs and Talent Development, alongside Jorge Marquez, Chair of the L.A. County Workforce Development Board, Kaley Martin, Senior Workforce Development Specialist for the Foundation for California Community Colleges, and Denita Willoughby, Founder and CEO of Big Energy Group, collaborated to present “Innovative Collaborations across Los Angeles: Diversifying the Health Care, Tech and Cleantech Workforce.”
