This spring, we’re ensuring students in Los Angeles get the support they need to complete their financial aid applications! Students and families are looking for timely resources to help them complete the FAFSA and CA Dream Act applications, due March 2. We know how grueling and tedious these applications can be, and sharing reminders and resources through social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) is a great way to get the word out! We recently helped L.A. Unified develop the Financial Aid Success Toolkit to provide schools with engagement strategies and resources to support financial aid completion. You can also check out our financial aid social media toolkit for sample posts your organization can use leading up to the March 2 submission deadline. L.A. Cash for College is also on the move for the Race to Submit financial aid apps! Our flyer includes resources for students on financial aid questions, as well as valuable videos, bilingual webinar recordings and FAQs.
