This month's partner spotlight belongs to the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD)! At its helm is Chancellor Francisco Rodriguez, a dedicated UNITE-LA board member, serving as our Board Chair, and a fierce UNITE-LA champion! An inspirational leader and speaker, he leads a team of strategic thought partners who serve as collaborators in improving access to and outcomes in higher education.

LACCD, alongside LAUSD and the City of Los Angeles, is a founder of UNITE-LA. Additionally, LACCD serves on the Compact Stewardship Group, is a key partner on the L.A. Region K-16 Collaborative, and an architect of the highly successful L.A. College Promise, which has served more than 20,000 students since 2017. Chancellor Rodriguez and his team have been strong supporters of UNITE-LA's career pathways work, which have long included health care and technology and grew this past year to include cleantech. UNITE-LA is proud to partner with LACCD and grateful for Chancellor Rodriguez's partnership and leadership and the work and dedication of the district's personnel, who serve 200,000 students annually.
