The Southern California Grantmakers (SCG) Education Funders Group brings together thought leaders, experts and practitioners to inform philanthropic partners interested in improving education outcomes in Los Angeles. As noted above, the Group invited UNITE-LA and L.A. Compact partners to share about their systems change efforts last month. While our opportunity to address the value and impact of the Compact was significant, the chance to do so for such an esteemed group was a true privilege. The SCG Education Funders Group understands the value of working together, stays on top of the needs of education and its leaders and helps those leaders navigate challenges.
