UNITE-LA attended the Breaking Barriers by Building Partnerships Convening hosted by the Foundation for California Community Colleges in San Diego last month.
The Breaking Barriers grant supports UNITE-LA’s Pathway Programming including My Pathway to Health, Step into Tech and the Avantus Cleantech Career Academy. Ilia Lopez, UNITE-LA’s senior manager of Inclusion and Community Partnerships, participated on a panel discussing “Innovative and Effective Partnerships,” and was joined by Christina Kuhn from Eckerd Connects and Air Gallegos from Canal Alliance.
