UNITE-LA’s LA Regional Cleantech Career Academy hosted its first career day in October.

UNITE-LA is currently hosting a second cohort of the Academy and as part of the curriculum, given that internship outreach/recruitment aligns with the Academy, leveraged the season to host a career day in partnership with employer partners in cleantech, which included the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, U.S. Green Building Council - Los Angeles, McCarthy Construction and Southern California Edison. The purpose behind the career day session was to assist students in building a pathway to a career in the ever-growing cleantech industry. Participating employer partners provided a 15-minute overview on their respective internship/career development programs, including tips and insights on how to submit a successful application.
