When the verdict for Derek Chauvin came in, it felt as if we were able, for a moment, to take a deep breath in honor of George Floyd, who died because of the cruel actions of a police officer taking away George's ability to breathe. It was lovely to join with all of you online in recognizing that, while this is progress, we have a long way to go. As we said in our social media, "Today. Tomorrow. The future. For him.
