In August, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) team kicked off its new cohort of 21 fellows participating in this year’s Fellowship for Inclusive Economic Growth (FIEG). The FIEG is a virtual cohort program designed for chamber executives and senior staff engaged in policy, programs, systems reform, and/or messaging and communications related to various aspects of inclusive economic growth, recovery and resilience. Selected fellows will engage in a 10-month program that explores timely theories, approaches and best practices through a combination of peer learning, expert consultations and network-building. The partnership between the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Foundation (ACCE-F) and UNITE-LA leverages ACCE’s powerful network of 1,600 member chambers of commerce and other business organizations, which represent about 1.2 million organizations that employ approximately 70 million people, with UNITE-LA’s capacity and expertise in strengthening cradle-to-career education and workforce development systems, policies and programs.
