UNITE-LA understands the importance of strengthening working relationships with ethnic and minority business partners that break down barriers and build up the economy. As such, UNITE-LA met with the President of the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce (COFACC) last month.

COFACC represents an impressive network of more than 40 autonomously operating Filipino American Chambers of Commerce organizations, 11 of which are housed in California. These chambers are united with a common mission of uplifting the economic conditions of Filipino American small and micro businesses, an influential ethnic minority group with a significant positive impact on the economy. COFACC shares UNITE-LA’s mission to uplift equity and economic mobility for our most vulnerable. UNITE-LA looks forward to building out potential partnership programs, as well as garnering support for relevant legislation.
