Last year, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation awarded UNITE-LA a $450,000 grant to launch an ambitious Health Care Pathway pilot program for opportunity youth – youth who are out of school and out of work.

Last month, UNITE-LA took part in the National Skills Coalition Advocacy Skills Summit Day, virtually.

UNITE-LA held its second, virtual Future Forward Forum at the end of March, featuring local employers and resources from the health care and tech sectors to equip high school and college students with the insight needed to move their futures forward.

In March, UNITE-LA held a kickoff planning session to develop a proposal for California's K16 Regional Collaborative grant program.

As many of you know, UNITE-LA's leader, David Rattray, announced he will retire from UNITE-LA on Sept. 1, 2022. Our Executive Vice President, Alysia Bell, has been promoted to President. David will continue to serve as CEO and will be working with Alysia and our entire leadership team to support her during this transition period.
